Application Fee Details

Age Eligibility Criteria
Age limits are calculated as of 1 January 2027:
- Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years
- Ground Duty Technical and Non-Technical Branches: 20 to 26 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per AFCAT recruitment rules.

Additionally, 10% of seats from CDSE vacancies are reserved for NCC Special Entry Flying Branch candidates, and 10% of AFCAT vacancies are reserved for SSC candidates.
Educational Qualifications Required
AFCAT Entry - Flying Branch
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, or hold a B.E/B.Tech degree.
Ground Duty Technical Branch
- Aeronautical Engineering Electronics: Minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a 4-year graduation or integrated postgraduate degree in Engineering/Technology.
- Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical: Minimum 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a 4-year engineering degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.
Ground Duty Non-Technical Branch
- Administration and Logistics: Bachelor’s degree in any stream with at least 60% marks. Physical eligibility: Height - Male 157.5 cm, Female 152 cm.
- Accounts: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) with minimum 60% marks. Physical eligibility: Height - Male 157.5 cm, Female 152 cm.
NCC Special Entry - Flying Branch
Applicants must hold the NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate and meet other flying branch eligibility criteria.
Meteorology Entry
Candidates should have a B.Sc. degree with Physics and Mathematics, securing at least 60% marks.
