Educational Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications as per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines and Medical Council of India (MCI) teacher eligibility criteria:
- Possession of a Postgraduate (PG) degree in the relevant specialty is mandatory.
- In case of insufficient PG degree holders, candidates with a Diploma may be considered, awarded 10 marks equivalent to PG degree but ranked below PG degree holders.
- DNB and DNB Super Specialty qualifications are also accepted.
- 40% of vacancies will be reserved for Bihar State Health Service cadre members, 40% for doctors who completed their postgraduate degree under the residency scheme within Bihar, and 20% for doctors with postgraduate degrees from recognized institutions outside Bihar.
