The first part of the 2025–26 placement cycle at BITS Pilani has been very successful. A large number of students from the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses received full-time job offers. In total, over 920 students found employment through campus placements. These students are now starting their new careers with companies that see their talents and potential.

The overall median salary offered across all the campuses was ₹28 lakh per year. The median salary tells us that half of the students earned more than this amount, and the other half earned less. It gives a good idea of the typical salary students are getting after graduation.

The Pilani campus, which is one of the main campuses of BITS Pilani, had an even higher median salary of ₹30 lakh. This shows that students from Pilani are particularly in demand and are receiving attractive salary offers.

Many companies participated in the placement process. In total, around 200 companies came to the campuses to recruit students. These companies ranged from local firms to large international corporations. Their participation shows strong industry interest in hiring BITS students.

Some companies, especially those involved in quantitative trading, offered very high packages. In fact, a few firms in this sector offered packages of over ₹1 crore annually to some students. Six students received offers that exceeded ₹1 crore, mainly from a company called IMC Trading. This indicates that students with strong skills and knowledge in specific areas can earn very high salaries.

International companies also took part in the recruitment process. For example, MediaTek and Toyoda Gosei, both of which are well-known global firms, recruited students for full-time roles. This international interest adds to the reputation of BITS Pilani as a place where students can prepare for global careers.

The semiconductor industry, which makes electronic chips used in all kinds of devices, showed strong hiring activity. Companies like Nvidia, Qualcomm, and AMD participated in the placement process. Their presence indicates growing opportunities in this industry for students with relevant skills.

In addition to full-time jobs, students also secured internships. More than 650 students received internship offers during the first semester. Internships are important because they give students real-world experience, help them learn more about their chosen fields, and can often lead to full-time jobs later.

Pre-Placement Offers, or PPOs, are offers given to students before the placement season officially begins. About 150 PPOs were extended to students, and it is expected that many of these will turn into full-time employment opportunities. PPOs are a good indicator of how many students are already being trusted and valued by companies before completing their studies.

Major banks and financial firms also participated actively. Companies such as JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and UBS hired many interns, who are now being considered for full-time positions. The involvement of these top financial institutions shows that students interested in finance have excellent chances of building careers in this sector.

The placement process is still ongoing, and many students are still waiting to secure final offers. However, the current results show a positive trend. Most students have already found employment or internship placements, indicating that the overall outlook is healthy and promising for students and the industries involved.

This placement cycle demonstrates that BITS Pilani remains a strong institute for career development. The participation of well-known companies from technology, finance, and the semiconductor sectors shows that students have a wide range of opportunities. The high salary offers and international company recruitment highlight the bright future awaiting BITS students.

The number of students benefiting from these placements, over 920 in the first phase, is a reason for celebration. The median salary figures, especially the ₹30 lakh for the Pilani campus, reflect the high value placed on BITS students by employers.

In summary, the first part of the 2025–26 placement cycle at BITS Pilani has demonstrated excellent results. It proves that students are well-prepared, companies are interested, and promising career opportunities are available. The university is pleased with these results and continues to support its students in reaching their career goals in a competitive, ever-changing job market.
