Educational Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree from a recognized university in one of the following disciplines:
- Food Technology: Food Engineering, Food Processing & Preservation, Food Technology & Management, Food Biotechnology, Food Safety & Quality Management, or related fields.
- Technology / Agricultural Sciences: Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Oil Technology, Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Food Nutrition & Dietetics, Horticulture, or related subjects.
- Science / Medical Sciences: Veterinary Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemistry, Medicine (MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BAMS, BSRMS).
Language Requirement: Candidates must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the matriculation (Class 10) level or Hindi at a higher education level.
Training: Selected candidates are required to complete prescribed training by the Food Authority after appointment.
