Educational Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Trade: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from recognized boards with at least 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English.
- Alternatively, candidates with a two-year vocational course including Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% in English are eligible.
- Medical Assistant Trade (Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy): Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with required subjects and hold a Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks and valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India at enrolment.
Physical Eligibility
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- Candidates up to 21 years: 1.6 km run within 7 minutes
- Candidates above 21 years with Diploma/B.Sc Pharmacy: 1.6 km run within 7 minutes 30 seconds
- Must complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats within the stipulated time
- Minimum height: 152.5 cm
- Chest expansion: Minimum 5 cm
- Normal hearing: Able to hear forced whisper from 6 meters separately in each ear
- Weight proportionate to height and age as per IAF standards
- Dental: Healthy gums, good teeth, minimum 14 dental points
- Visual standards: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9; refractive error not exceeding +3.50D including astigmatism
