MPESB Launches Online Counselling for Primary Teacher PSTST 2026
The Madhya Pradesh Professional Selection Board (MPESB) has started the online counselling process for the recruitment of Primary School Teachers under the PSTST 2026 cycle. This recruitment drive covers a total of 13,089 vacancies for Primary School Prathamik Shikshak posts.
Applications for this recruitment were accepted between July 18 and August 25, 2025, with the written examination held on October 9, 2025. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now participate in the counselling process to secure their appointments.

Educational Qualifications Required
The eligibility criteria vary slightly based on the post category:
- Primary School Teacher (Post Code 1 to 4): Candidates must have passed the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by MPESB in 2020 or 2024 with the prescribed qualifying score. Educational qualifications include:

- Primary School Teacher - Science (Post Code 5 to 10): Candidates must have at least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (12th) with Science stream or equivalent, along with either a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education or a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) with the relevant subject.
