Overview of NTA UGC NET June 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the answer key for the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) held in June 2026. The examination took place between June 22 and June 30, 2026.

Age Eligibility
- JRF: Maximum age limit is 31 years
- NET: No age limit
Educational Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree or be in the final year of their postgraduate program with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university or college.
- Candidates with a 4-year bachelor’s degree are also eligible.
