What Is TN HSE Re-totaling and Revaluation?
If you appeared for the TN HSE (+1 and +2) Supplementary Examination 2026 and are unhappy with your marks, you can ask for a review of your answer sheets. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, provides two options:
- Re-totaling: This means rechecking the total marks awarded to ensure there was no mistake in adding up your scores.
- Revaluation: This involves re-examining your answers to see if any marks were missed or wrongly given.
Note that for each subject, you can only choose one option—either re-totaling or revaluation, not both.
Before applying for either, you must first request and receive a scanned copy of your evaluated answer script from the DGE.
