- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Home Science as the main subject with at least 50% marks from a university recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Reserved category candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in minimum marks.
- Alternatively, candidates with a Diploma of at least two years in Teacher Nursery Training (NTT), CTT (Nursery), DPSE, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) are eligible.
